Poole Lighting has decided to create a branch in Ireland to help resolve the delays arising from customs clearances and increased paperwork due to Brexit.

What is the benefit of this change for Irish customers?
The formation of this branch will enable us to move a whole consignment of orders for a day under one customs declaration, thereby significantly reducing the potential for delays. 

When will the change take place?
As communicated in advance via email, the new branch is operational from Monday 02 August 2021.

What will change for customers?
Orders despatched on or after 2nd August will be invoiced including VAT.

What will change for customers?
You will be invoiced by our branch in Ireland, so you will you notice minor changes to your documentation including the inclusion of VAT. 

Please Note: Banking details are unaffected by this change, please continue to use existing accounts

Our VAT registration number is:  IE9664979O

Reclaiming VAT:
•    From 02 August we will be required to charge VAT at 23% on all orders to Irish customers, set out on your invoice with all necessary details for your VAT documentation
•    Please register Poole Lighting Ireland, trading as Saxby Lighting as you would a domestic supplier and follow the same processes required for reclaiming VAT

How will delivery times be impacted by this change?
To ensure a robust and clear timetable that you can rely on we will have regular, scheduled deliveries to Ireland. Orders will be despatched twice a week, on a Monday and a Thursday. This will be made clear at the point of checking out your order.
